Spiritual Direction

Spiritual direction is an on-going relationship between a “directee” (person seeking) and a “director” (qualified person giving guidance) wherein a sacred space is created for the exploration and deepening of the spiritual life. 

Through conversation and reflection, the directee becomes more attuned to God’s presence and can respond more fully to the Divine as it is revealed in all areas of life. Direction typically takes place in a confidential one-on-one setting and may include some form of prayer experience to increase awareness of the movement of the Spirit in the directee’s life.

Where is God in this situation? What does He want me to do? How can I deepen my prayer life so as to better discern God's will and feel His love? These are just some of the questions that may arise in spiritual direction. A trained spiritual director can accompany you on your journey with God, listening with compassion and guiding you with Scripture, prayer, and inspiration.
