St. Paul Parish is part of the Mercer County Chapter of the Holy Innocents Society, working with neighboring parishes to support individuals with disabilities and their families in the life of the Church.

Our parish offers family catechesis on the second Sunday of each month from 11:15am–12:30pm for children whose disabilities or individual needs make participation in our traditional Religious Education program difficult. We also partner with parishes throughout Mercer County to share events, opportunities, resources, and support for individuals and families of all abilities.

What is the Holy Innocents Society?
The Holy Innocents Society (HIS) is a diocesan nonprofit organization dedicated to supporting individuals and families living with special needs of any kind. Its mission is to help children, adults, and families fully participate in parish and community life throughout the Diocese of Trenton. The HIS Mission is to:

• Promote and provide spiritual, educational, recreational, social, and cultural services.
• Provide religious education programs including sacramental preparation.
• Guide, provide referrals, and counsel to address their ongoing and changing needs.
• Advocate for ongoing and improved rehabilitative, vocational, and educational programs.
• Explore, advocate for, and support establishing appropriate residences and respite care options.

All are welcome, both from within St. Paul Parish and from the broader community, to come to know Jesus and experience the love of a faith community.
