We are blessed to be a part of this parish, community, and nation. A life of faith must include action, not just prayers.
The Sisters of Mercy lived in the parish for many years. The Mercy Core Values, their charism, must continue to live on at St. Paul's: Respect, Integrity, Justice, Service, Compassion.
To help children “Grow in Faith,” all parish children will participate in the “Acts of Faith” Passport program, giving back to the Church and parish community. Children in Grades K–7 will complete 9 acts, while Confirmation candidates will complete 15 acts. These acts are divided into three categories: Service Events, Liturgical Services, and Parish Events. Families can choose acts that fit their time and talents.
Examples include:
Service: Participating in a food or toy drive
Liturgical: Attending special Masses, prayer services, or Children’s Liturgy of the Word (held the first Sunday of each month)
Parish: Enjoying fellowship at events like Donut Sundays or the Christmas Tree Lighting
We’re always looking for new ideas, so please contact Jaime if you have suggestions!
Children will receive hardcopies of their passports on the first day of PREP. If you do not receive one, please stop by the Parish offices to pick one up for your child!
