Little Hearts Playgroup

Open to children ages 0 to 5, Little Hearts Playgroup meets on the second Sunday of the month in the Spiritual Center Auditorium during Parish Get-Togethers with coffee and donuts (October through June). Caregivers and their children are welcome to join. Families also meet off campus, at local parks and farms. 

Little Hearts is a beautiful and instrumental part of parish life because it creates a welcoming space where young families can build friendships, find community, and grow together in faith. For many parents of young children, the parish can feel hard to enter when their days center on naps, feeding schedules, and caring for little ones. A playgroup meets families where they are, offering a simple, joyful way to connect with other parents while their children play and grow together.

More than just a social gathering, it helps build the “village” that every family needs—one rooted in Catholic community, belonging, and support. These early relationships can become the foundation for deeper participation in parish life, helping young families see the Church not simply as a place they attend on Sunday, but as a spiritual home where they are known, welcomed, and supported throughout their family’s journey.
