Loaves and Fishes is a local outreach program that serves hot meals to the Trenton community on the last two Saturdays of every month. For nearly 40 years, this outreach program has invited local parishes and communities throughout Central Jersey to gather, prepare, and serve the meal.
On Saturday, June 21, our parish will distribute more than 500 meals and donations at St. Mary Cathedral to the homeless and low-income residents of the Trenton area. Donation items will be collected in the SPS Cafeteria on Friday, June 20. In feeding the hungry, clothing the naked, and welcoming the stranger, we become what we are: a Christ-like people.
