Bishop O’Connell has announced that there will be a Memorial Mass for the late pope this Thursday, Jan. 5, at noon in St. Robert Bellarmine Co-Cathedral in Freehold. This will allow an opportunity for the clergy, consecrated religious and faithful in attendance to pray together as a diocesan family. For those who cannot attend the diocesan Mass, it will also be livestreamed at youtube.com/trentondiocese.

We are happy to welcome Eric Kim as our new Children’s Choir and Teen Music Ministry Director! Eric is a graduate student at Westminster Choir College, majoring in Choral Conducting and is currently a graduate assistant for the Symphonic Choir at Westminster under the guidance of Dr. James Jordan. Eric has significant experience working with children’s choirs here in the US and abroad and has plans of staying here in Princeton to further that vision. Eric will be mentored here at St. Paul’s by Carole Moore, who held the position of Director for many years and has now retired. Eric will also be mentored by Ernie Andreoli, St. Paul’s Director of Music.

As the only national collection taken for higher education in the United States, the upcoming collection for The Catholic University of America in Washington, D.C., is vital to scholarships for financially deserving students. The United States Conference of Catholic Bishops designates the first or second Sunday in September for its national collection for CUA. This year the collection will be taken up in parishes of the Diocese of Trenton on Sept. 3-4.
